Circulation Department

Basic Circulation services include charging out a book, book renewals, the hold/recall service, and reserve material service for instructors. These services are available to the faculty, staff and students of Yale University, the staff of the Yale-New Haven Medical Center, and affiliates of the Yale-New Haven Medical Center.

Call the Circulation Desk at (203) 785-5354 , email medcirc@yale.edu, or come into the library to ask questions regarding charging out books, late fees, book renewals, recalls, the paging service, and reserve material service for instructors.

  • Eli Express: Request a book from another Yale Library
  • Place a hold on a book
  • Place materials from the Medical Library collection on course reserve (Instructors)
