Dr. Fredric Daum has researched the diagnosis, treatment and management of inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's Disease, ulcerative colitis) in children for thirty years. He has published more than 150 articles, abstracts and book chapters in this field. His present interests include toilet training issues in children with and without special needs.
Dr. Dinesh Pashankar focuses on gastroesophageal
reflux disease (GERD) and constipation. He studies the prevalence and
treatment of gastroesophageal reflux in children. His research also includes
prevalence of constipation, therapeutic options for chronic constipation
and bowel preparation for colonoscopy in children.
Dr. Sohail Husain is examining the cellular
mechanisms that regulate the early phase of the inflammatory disease,
acute pancreatitis, and their determinants.
